Treatment of vitiligo

Vitiligo disease is characterised by a development of depigmentated (entirely white) spots on the skin. Different zones of the human body can be affected. The reasons for the emergence of Vitiligo are still not entirely clarified, but most frequently appear after stress or traumas. Deviations in the process of melanin production are established in the depigmentated areas.

Vitiligo treatment aims at unlocking melanin production through combination of LED phototherapy and internal and local application of re-pigmentation regulators.
