Botox
Botox injections are simple, non-surgical method for temporary softening and winkles removing. These are surface ijections with botulinum toxin, which is injected directly in the mimic muscles of the face. The botulinum toxin is sublimate protein of bacterial origin, which can paralize the muscles responsible for wrinkle forming. The toxin blocks the sending of nerve impulses in the injected muscles, causing the mimic muscles to relax. This way wrinkles are being softened. The procedure of injecting the botulinum toxin takes about 10 minutes and does not require recovery period. The procedure is painless. The effect of the toxin is achieved gradually, after several days.
Botox injections are used mainly for wrinkle removing in the forehead area, between the eyebrows, and near the eyes.
It is best if botox procedures are not used until completing 30 years of age. In cases when you use anticoagulants (medicines for blood goring), the method must not be apllied. It is not recommended to use botox on pregnant patients. The patients should not use aspirin for one week after injection.
